Unterhalt
Unterhalt ist das, was jemand leistet, um für den Lebensbedarf eines anderen aufzukommen. Unterhalt kann zum Beispiel geleistet werden durch Geld, durch Sachen, aber auch durch Erziehung, Betreuung, Pflege und persönliche Zuwendung.
Im Tierreich ist das ebenfalls ein Thema und hat sich heute morgen wie folgt dargestellt:
Wie ist die Rechtslage?
Deutsches Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch
§ 1601: Verwandte in gerader Linie sind verpflichtet, einander Unterhalt zu gewähren.
§ 1602 (1): Unterhaltsberechtigt ist nur, wer außerstande ist, sich selbst zu unterhalten.
Im Geltungsbereich des BGB steht jedem Unterhaltsberechtigten der Rechtsweg offen, seinen Unterhalt(sanspruch) gegenüber dem Unterhaltsverpflichteten notfalls einzuklagen. Manche müssen das nolens volens leider tun, wenn die Leistungen unbegründet ausbleiben.
Ein für Jungfalken zuständiges Familiengericht hat die Natur jedoch NICHT eingerichtet. Ergo bleibt ihnen nix Anderes übrig, als möglichst schnell das Jagen zu üben. Denn sie haben bereits alle Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten, die sie dafür brauchen, nur sie wissen es (noch) nicht. Genau das unterscheidet sie von den Kindern des homo sapiens. Wir kommen nackt auf die Welt und müssen alles mühsam erlernen, das ganze Leben lang. Feste Fristen, wann wir das HOTEL MAMA verlassen müssen, gibt es zudem auch nicht. Manche wohnen dort gefühlt bis zur Rente, was dem Leitbild des deutschen Gesetzgebers (das BGB ist 1900 in Kraft getreten) eigentlich nicht entspricht. Insoweit könnte die Natur tatsächlich ein Vorbild sein.
Die Story ist heute morgen natürlich weitergegangen. Denn innerhalb von nur einer Stunde haben alle 4 Jungfalken ihren Erstflug angetreten.
Otto Lilienthal’s Erstflug 1891 soll 15 Meter betragen haben. Das haben die Falken heute (noch) nicht geschafft, sondern sie sind im 5 Meter entfernten Apfelbaum gelandet. Ein “Bild für die Götter” :-)) und richtiger Stress für die Altvögel, die desorientierten Jungfalken wieder in die Spur zu bekommen. Ich hab das durch das “1.280 mm Teleobjektiv” beobachtet und auch festgehalten, was gar nicht so einfach war. Witzig ist es auf jeden Fall, wenn Falken – was sie nie wieder tun werden – den Versuch unternehmen, wie Papageien Turnübungen an den Ästen zu probieren. Denn dafür hat sie die Natur sicher nicht ausgestattet.
Die Altvögel werden die Jungen noch 2 bis 3 Wochen weiter versorgen, aber nur noch spärlich, damit sie gezwungen werden, selber zu jagen. Derzeit sollte das auch kein Problem sein. Denn auf den abgeernteten Feldern kann ein Falkenauge Maus & Co. aus 50 Meter Höhe messerscharf identifizieren, sodass für Nahrung gesorgt ist.
GLÜCK ab und gut LAND, die Vögel waren wie fast jedes Jahr eine nette Bereicherung.

German Civil Code
Section 1601: Relatives in the direct line are obliged to provide maintenance for each other.
Section 1602 (1): Only those who are unable to support themselves are entitled to maintenance.
In the area of application of the GCC, every person entitled to maintenance has the legal right to sue for maintenance against the person obliged to pay maintenance, if necessary. Unfortunately, some people have to do this if they are not paid for no reason.
However, nature has NOT established a family court responsible for young falcons. Hence, they have no choice but to practise hunting as soon as possible. Because they already have all the skills and abilities they need for it, only they don’t know it (yet). This is exactly what distinguishes them from the children of homo sapiens. We are born naked and have to learn everything painstakingly throughout our life. Moreover, there are no fixed deadlines when we have to leave the HOTEL MUM. Some people live there until they retire, which does not really correspond to the model of the German legislator (the GCC came into force in 1900). In this respect, nature could actually be a model.
The story continued this morning, of course. Because within just one hour, all 4 young falcons made their first flight.
Otto Lilienthal’s first flight in 1891 is said to have been 15 metres. The falcons didn’t manage that today (yet), but landed in the apple tree 5 metres away. A “picture for the gods” :-)) and real stress for the adults to get the disoriented young falcons back on track. I observed this through the “1,280 mm telephoto lens” and also took pictures, which was not so easy. In any case, it is funny when falcons – which they will never do again – attempt to try gymnastic exercises on tree branches like parrots. Because that is certainly not what nature has equipped them for.
The adult birds will continue to feed the young for another 2 to 3 weeks, but only sparingly, so that they are forced to hunt for themselves. At present, this should not be a problem. In the harvested fields, a hawk’s eye can identify mice and other prey with razor-sharp precision from a height of 50 metres, so food is guaranteed.
